Mussadi rushes in to his house calling out to his wife and informs her that he has been transferred to another village nearby. He tells her that there is no gas line in that village yet and hence she will have to make shift with the arrangements he made. Further, he calls in his existing gas agency called Bhatia gas agency to surrender his own gas cylinder. At the agency, while, Usha is busy on the phone, Pandeyji is asleep on his desk. When the phone rings, Shukla picks up the phone and asks Mussadi to come the next day to surrender the cylinder. When Mussadi reaches the agency he finds Usha on the phone and another customer waiting for his turn. The man reveals that she has been on the phone for quiet some time.
